Blogs you can use: FreelanceSwitch

April 18th, 2007

FreelanceSwitchThere’s a new blog in town that’s all freelancing, all the time. It’s called FreelanceSwitch, and it looks like the site’s going to offer up some serious resources for we self-employed types in the coming months. Check it out.

Would you pay a person as a ‘light’ grammar person? Example:
normative case/objective case of pronouns: I, we: use as subject of sentence; Me, us: use as object of sentence.
Example: “for we self-employed types…” ‘for’ is a preposition; the ‘we’ should be ‘us’ as it is the object of the preposition. You would not say “for we; you would say “for us”. Just drop the remainder of the phrase if you aren’t sure which form is needed.

are you volunteering be my copyeditor? if so, please send resume pasted in to http://www.anti9to5guide.com/contact. as this blog is not a paid gig for me, i can’t pay a copyeditor. however, that’s an interesting biz idea. let me know if you find any bloggers willing to pay a “grammar person.”
