Lol, I'll have to remind my mom to come and read this post, she'll get a kick from the shout-out!

In case anyone's wondering why my mom got a hello, it's because she was listening to the radio station when Michelle was on air. Having absolutely no idea that I know Michelle or read her blog, my mom called me up excitedly to tell me about this lady on the radio who was talking about "how to get out of the cube" and that I would find it interesting.

It was only later that we figured out she had been listening to Michelle, when I was telling my mom about my Friday night out at the pub "with an author I know from Seattle." It was such a weird coincidence for my mom to discover that the person she'd heard on the radio was the same person I was hanging out with over beverages, cheering on the Canucks!
