Get your business finance on

October 22nd, 2007

Boostrapper‘s done it again. This time they’ve listed The 100 Best Business Finance Posts of All Time, on everything from funding to spending to money management. Yeah, I’ve got a post on negotiating on the list, but I’d recommend it anyway. Some links I’m looking forward to reading:

You get the idea.

Note: Several of the links I clicked went to blogs with header art featuring career coach types rocking a spiffy business suit and an authoritative gaze looking out over crossed arms. Don’t say I didn’t warn you.

Headers like that seem to be a dime a dozen now. Every time I make a website for a business I always refrain from the towering business-like atmosphere and go for something a little lighter. When I go to a website, the last thing I want to be reminded of is a boss towering over me in a business suit with his arms crossed telling me what I’m doing wrong!

It’s so hard to get financing as a female entrepreneur, I’ve found. I really look forward to reading those links, so thanks for reposting. I also stumbled across this great contest that you should check out, which will be great for those of you looking for funding to get to the next level. It’s called “Make Your Dreams Come True with Mirassou.” They are awarding one aspiring business woman $50,000 plus a team of highly professional consultants to help kick start your business. Check it out here http://www.mirassou.com/women_in_business/dreams.asp for more info and to enter. It would be a great asset for you future female leaders of tomorrow. I work with them, so I have the inside scoop. Thanks again for the great blog and links.

Thanks for these links. It’s so wonderful to see so many resources for women business owners. It’s so great to hear everyone else’s experiences because I work in relative isolation. I work with my customers of course but I’m a very small operation so links like this are a huge resource for me.
