I'm a freelance graphic designer and medical illustrator, been working freelance style now since 2001. I started a big marketing push at the beginning of 2008, but alas, life had other plans and my father fell ill with cancer and passed away suddenly. So, all that money I pushed into advertising and a new website went down the toilet since I had to take 4 months away from work to care for my dad. Now, as I go into summer I'm frantically trying to regain lost ground, push ahead and make up lost money/work. I'm a smart, funny, go-getter but with the economy slowing I'm beginning to feel the pinch. Would really love to attend the BizJam, can you help? Cheers! Kristine Hi,
